This area contains a variety of things I've thought of or done over the years. The first part is full of projects that I've done for school or fun. In the later half, I've developed some ideas I've had. This stuff goes all the way back to high school.
School Stuff
- Here are all of my class schedules:
- My Master's Thesis, entitled "Comparison of Alternative Training Algorithms for Hidden Markov Models"
- My Senior Design Project got me into the ECE 345 Hall of Fame. Grant and I designed a Caller ID system that connects to your computer. It can be used to route calls and keep computer logs of callers.
- Listen to a sample of my ECE 320 Final Project. I programmed a DSP chip to perform some of the effects you see on my commercial stereo recievers (i.e.: 'Stadium,' and 'Hall').
- A few semesters ago I enrolled in Journalism 150. I wrote five feature-style articles for the class. You can read my Nature Article. I decided to write it about a flower arranging class at the U of I, and the woman who has been teaching it for 20 years.
- You can also take a look at some of my Photography from High School. I've scanned in a few of my better pictures from photography class.
Random Things
- This isn't one of my projects, but I thought it was cool. Angi Egan used my eyes in a piece of her artwork. Check out "Swamp Eyes".
- What if the NFL picked its champion like boxing does? A new guide to NFL Champs.
- Here's my idea to fix Major League Baseball's scheduling problem.
- Here's an idea I have for fixing the College Bowl Championship Series (BCS).
- According to JD, 'Every website should have a "/porn" section.'
- I've done some modifications to my Nintendo Entertainment System (8-bit). Take a look at what I've done.
