2004 News Archives:

November 30, 2004: Welcome to the new homepage. I am now basically fully set up on the www.shaileshingale.com site. I've already taken advantage of the cgi capabilities, although if all went well, you won't notice it. The pages are all put out in a standard layout, so if I want to change the links at the top, I just change one html file, instead of doing 50 html files for each page. The galleries are automatically generated from a list of filenames. I got rid of the dreambook guestbook and put in my own, so there is no banner any more. Also, since I don't have a .plan file, I replaced it with a blog (since thats all the rage now, right?). I've also been capturing some of my better home videos, but they won't be available until I set up some sort of login/password system, because we don't need all of America downloading pictures of drunken frat boys running around in the woods.

June 16, 2004: I've added some pictures from the Orioles game on Friday, and from my old neighborhood.

May 2, 2004: I've added my thesis to my list of projects.

April 28, 2004: I've updated the page with the 2004 schedules for the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins. In really awesome news, I also submitted my Master's thesis today, which means that I will officially graduate this May.

February 20, 2004: No major updates. I fixed a broken link and reorganized the old News archives.

February 11, 2004: I've updated my schedule. Thesis work is going well, better than expected in fact.

January 21, 2004: I've updated my schedule since it is now finalized. Don't expect any major updates anytime soon. I'm knee-deep in thesis right now.

January 8, 2004: Happy New Year! So I was at the Ravens-Titans Playoff game on Saturday with my Dad and my brother-in-law Jim and his buddy Kevin, and I got in line to go to the bathroom. Well this guy wearing a Redskins hat and jacket gets in line behind me. Anyways, since we're in Baltimore, the trash-talking starts almost immediately. One of the Raven's fans yells at him, "Hey Buddy, I hate to be the one to break this to you, but Joe Gibbs is never coming back!" Well the irony of the whole story is that only 4 days after this comment was made, the Redskins announced that Joe Gibbs is returning as the coach of the Redskins. Anyways, I've updated the Redskins section in accordance with the existing hysteria.
